The award is given during the celebration of the 40th Founding Anniversary of the 101st Infantry Brigade (Three Red Arrows) on February 01, 2010 in a ceremony held at the 101st Brigade Grandstand in Brgy. Del Pilar, Pi�??�?�±an, Zamboanga del Norte.

    Gracing the event as Guest of Honor and presenting the award is Mgen Romeo D. Lustestica, Commanding Officer of the 1st Infantry Divison, Philippine Army.

    The celebration extends for three consecutive days with meaningful events lined up such as a friendly tennis tournament with some civilians, a 5K FunRun, tree planting and bloodletting activities, geared towards realizing the revitalized thrust of our men in uniform in winning peace through maintaining good relations with the civilian population.

    The said anniversary is an astounding success much through the efforts and able leadership of Col. Roland Amarille, the present Commanding Officer of the 101st Brigade, and his entire command.    

CHO REITERATES CALL ON THE 4 O'CLOCK HABIT TO PREVENT DENGUE

In response to the continuing rise of Dengue cases throughout the country today, the City Government of Dipolog under the leadership of City Mayor Evelyn T. AIP & 20% DEVELOPMENT PLAN BUDGET ALLOCATION INCREASED

The City Development Council (CDC) during its meeting held last August 5, 2010, has earmarked an estimated ten percent (10%) budget increase in its annual investment plan (AIP), and twenty point seventy eight percent (20.78%) increase for the 20% Development Plan for the budget year 2011. Engineer Albert Alimpulos, City Planning and Development Officer said, "the funds would be used to improve/ cater to the local and national priority projects and programs of the three (3) major sectoral groups involved namely: General Public Services, Social Services, and Economic Services, pursuant to the DILG-DBM joint circular No. 1 series of 2005, and as mandated by R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991."
