Hon. Evelyn T. Uy yet again adds a new feather to her cap as City Mayor of Dipolog by receiving another prestigious award from the 101st infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in view of her invaluable support of its programs and activities, particularly under its Internal Security Operations for the maintenance of peace and order in the community.
Gracing the event as Guest of Honor and presenting the award is Mgen Romeo D. Lustestica, Commanding Officer of the 1st Infantry Divison, Philippine Army.
The celebration extends for three consecutive days with meaningful events lined up such as a friendly tennis tournament with some civilians, a 5K FunRun, tree planting and bloodletting activities, geared towards realizing the revitalized thrust of our men in uniform in winning peace through maintaining good relations with the civilian population.
The said anniversary is an astounding success much through the efforts and able leadership of Col. Roland Amarille, the present Commanding Officer of the 101st Brigade, and his entire command.
