“King of the Peak”- Linabo Vertical Assault Challenge participants on their way to Dipolog’s highest peak “Linabo Peak”.

The “King of the Peak” is Mr. Glen Arellano who hails from Pagadi-an City”. This was the announcement and confirmation made by City Legal Officer Atty. Arvin L. Bonbon, the current Chairman of the Committee on Linabo Vertical Assault  Challenge (King of the Peak) which was conducted last May 6, 2017 at the 3,003 Steps to Linabo Peak.

According to Atty. Bonbon, a total of 112 Challengers registered for the event but only 90 participated in the Challenge Assault. The King of the Peak Glen Arellano belonged to the Elite Category who finished his climbed to Linabo Peak for 18 minutes. He received a Finisher tee shirt, a finisher medal, cash prize of P2,000.00 and a free meal.

It was further learned that the committee organized 6 categories for the said vertical challenge assault and the winners were the following:

All winners received finisher t-shirts, cash prizes, medals and free meals. Atty. Bonbon expressed his gratitude to all participants and coordinating agencies of the local government unit headed by Mayor Darel Dexter T.
